I’m a straight hair natural and in the past I’ve either tied a scarf around my edges and put my bonnet or just wore my bonnet to bed. Both in my head was doing a lot…uncomfortable. Without the scarf on my edges, my edges would need a light touch from the flatiron in the morning which was doing too much. The bonnet protected my hair well but unless I had put some curls in my hair, my straight hair would get a weird bend. THEN my sister told me about this TikTok hack that involved using a pair of tights or nylons. I tried it and had better results than expected. However, the lack of silky texture wasn’t best for my hair. THEN (lol, so extra) I shared my new found hair wrapping alternative (before I decided the texture wasn’t best for my hair) with my daughter. After one night of trying it she said that it wasn’t for her but, that lead her to looking for an alternative because the premise is fantastic! Before I knew it she told me that she found the alternative and had already bought it 🤣 (she moves quickly). Well, it came quite quickly! We FaceTimed that night so she could show me. First thing she says is “mom, the packaging is really nice, it’s quality! I watched her put it on and take it off a couple of times to ensure she knew how to do it and to show me how as well. I knew right away that I NEEDED one too! I placed my order and shortly after I received an email from the owner (she had a question about my address and wanted to ensure I received my product. She said she hoped that I would enjoy my product and I gave her the abbreviated story that I just shared. It felt like I was conversing with a friend ❤️. The customer service was phenomenal! Needless to say, I received my product quickly and it was all that I expected. The ONLY thing I would change (that both myself and my daughter experienced) would be to offer a large size (for big heads like us) and a normal people head size. It does have elastic and it does stretch out with wear but initially felt a bit snug to sleep in. When I remove it, my hair is sooo shiny and perfectly straight the way I like it ( blunt cut lob). When I come home from work, I change my clothes and put my Samurai wrap on because it keeps my hair protected from the heat in the house and ensures that my hair does not frizz while doing things like washing dishes and the steam going to my roots. All that to say, girl just buy it. I know you don’t think you need it but you do. Thank me later😘
